    Q. What does Accountability International do?
    A. Accountability Internationalís purpose is to help businesses, government agencies, schools or any organization raise employee productivity by limiting, monitoring and tracking their time on the Internet. Our management-driven, Internet usage tool, MinitraxTM, works for both in-house employees and for telecommuting employees. Comprehensive activity logs can be generated from the collected data and used to develop and enforce Internet usage policies.

    Q. How does MinitraxTM time monitoring, Internet usage solution work?
    A. A small client module is downloaded to each computer you want to monitor. That program displays an adjustable weekly clock at the bottom of your browser when opened. It also collects, encrypts then sends small summary information packets of all Internet traffic to our servers. The data is collected and stored in our database behind our firewall. The data is then available for you to view through our secure application via a standard SSL-enabled browser.

    Q. What are your system requirements?
    A. MSIE 4.0 or greater is needed for accessing the MinitraxTM service.

    Q. How many computers can I monitor with MinitraxTM?
    A. MinitraxTM is a user-based service. There is no limitation to the numbers of users you can monitor.

    Q. How up-to-date is the information that is presented?
    A. The information you see is in near real time.

    Q. How secure is my data when it is stored in your system?
    A. We use multi-level role-based security as part of our system. In addition, all information to and from our servers is encrypted using a secure socket layer (SSL), which secures all your proprietary information. Finally, all of our servers are behind multiple levels of firewall security.

    Q. Will software have to be installed on each computer?
    A. Yes, a very small client module will be downloaded to each computer.

    Q. Can I monitor computers for out-of-office employees?
    A. Yes, since MiniTraxTM is a user-based service, you can set up any computer within your company account. The service works for the home-based (SOHO) employee using a company PC, and for the telecommuting employee using a laptop computer.

    Q. Can I monitor my home computer with MinitraxTM?
    A. Yes, If your home computer is a company PC, then you can add it to your company account. If your home computer is for your family's personal use, then you can setup a separate Household account with Accountability International.

    Q. Does everyone in the company have to be monitored?
    A. Accountability Internationalís MinitraxTM service was designed to let each organization set up their Internet monitoring using their existing organizational structure and physical locations. Since MinitraxTM is a user-based system, you can exempt key executives/employees from being monitored.

    Q. Are the individuals being monitored able to remove, uninstall or block being monitored?
    A. No, only ďmanagersĒ are able to add/remove or alter who is being monitored.

    Q. How easy is it to get set up as an Accountability International customer?
    A. Very easy. Our customer support team works with you to do an initial setup, then they train you to add/delete users.

    Q. How is my company charged for using the MinitraxTM service?

    Q. What type of information will I be seeing when a user is being monitored?
    A. MinitraxTM activity logs provide managers with all the information necessary to understand the surfing activities of the person being monitored. Activity logs can be sorted by date or by site URL addresses. You can drill down to specific pages within the site. Each page URL is listed as a hyperlink. Thus, for unrecognizable URL addresses, managers can simply click on the link and the page appears. Logs also include the date, time of day, and the length of active time.

    Q. Who can view the activity logs?
    A. Individual users can view their own activity log. Managers can view activity logs for each of their direct reports.

    Q. If I login to my online bank, will my manager be able to view my bank account information?
    A. No. If you login to any secure, password-protected site, MiniTraxTM does not create a snapshot or hyperlink to those pages. Your manager will see what site you visited and how long you spent there.

    Q. Can the software be detected by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del?
    A. No, the downloaded client module cannot be detected in this way.

    Q. Is it legal to monitor my employees Internet activity?
    A. Yes. Using our service allows business organizations to protect themselves against Internet abuses by their employees. Employees surfing the Internet for non-business related reasons waste employers time and money. The Federal courts have sided with businesses in regard to monitoring information transferred on their networks.
